Dr. Lawrence Samuels joined DRC 16 years ago after serving as Assistant Professor of Musculoskeletal Radiology at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Prior to that he completed his residency in Radiology at University of Alabama Hospital in Birmingham and a one-year fellowship at Wake Forest University/North Carolina Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem. Dr. Samuels completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Rush-Presbyterian-St Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. He earned his medical doctorate at Bowman Gray School of Medicine where he was honored Alpha Omega Alpha by the Medical Honor Society. In his undergraduate studies at Duke University in North Carolina, Dr. Samuels earned a degree in Biomedical Engineering.
