Community Awareness for DRC means its patients and employees…their families, friends, and loved ones and what medical issues affect them.
DRC is pleased to participate in community projects that support education and promote prevention of certain medical issues such as breast cancer and heart disease. It is a time to offer support to those who have experienced the devastating effects of these diseases.
Pink Tailgate Party
October 2009
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and Chattanooga Outpatient Center and Tennessee Imaging & Vein Center held a Pink Tailgate Party to increase awareness and provide education because early detection saves lives. Area physician’s offices were invited to participate in the fun and festivities. COC also has a newly remodeled mammography suite. Both locations provide mammograms, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI and COC offers breast special procedures to those in need.
